It’s part of Transport for London’s plan to create a cycle corridor to follow the Northern line from Colliers Wood to Elephant & Castle.
The first phase of the work will focus on the section from Balham to Colliers Wood.
Temporary improvements will include improved footways along Balham High Road to help pedestrians with social distancing.
