A £75m contract has been abandoned by Hammersmith and Fulham Council, after pricing errors in their documents

The council was looking for a contractor to carry out general repairs and construction work in the borough for the next seven years.

They’ve posted a note in the Official Journal, saying bidders could not understand how to price bids, and had different interpretations of the data.

A council spokesperson says this will have “no impact” to the safety of residents, or its Fire Safety Plus programme.
