Sarah Olney backed “Power for People” during the proposal of a new “Local Electricity Bill.”
This would create a “Right to Local Supply” of electricity by new energy companies and not just nationally licensed utilities.
The hope is to stimulate the growth of community-owned clean energy companies whilst boosting jobs and the economy.
