A man from North Surrey has been charged with terrorism offences

37-year-old Michael Nugent is accused of 12 counts.

He appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today and was remanded in custody by deputy chief magistrate Tan Ikram until 2 October, when he will appear before the Old Bailey.
