The 30-year-old man was with a friend when they got into an argument with the driver, then they drove off in their van.
They saw the Mini Clubman was following them, and when they got out to confront him, he drove at them and crushed one of them against the van.
Police have just released details of the incident at around midnight on the 21st of July.
