A new survey commissioned by the British Heart Foundation has found that charity shops are considered more important to society since the pandemic.

The findings reveal almost one in three (29%) see them as more important and that four in ten (40%) think being sustainable is more important than before.

With all its shops back up and running, the charity hopes to encourage more people into its shops over the coming weeks so they can continue funding life saving heart research.

400 shops opened this week including in New Malden and Surbiton.
