A sculpture made out of used mobile phones is the become a centrepiece at Kingston’s Guildhall

Genuine Solutions is to donate phones beyond repair to create the sculpture.

Kingston’s residents have until the end of the month to submit their design ideas for the piece.

The move follows a campaign by Kingston’s Mayor to get residents to donate their old phones, raising £4,000 for charity.
