In December 2016, PCs Max Michel and Shaun Charnock were responding to a report of a lost or stolen vehicle.
At a junction, they hit a driver, who needed to be cut out of his car and received minor injuries.
The policemen said they’d gone through a green light, and the driver through a red, but this has now found to not have been the case through CCTV footage.
They’ve been found proven of gross misconduct.
