Almost 40 creative organisations have benefitted from a specialist fund distributed in Croydon during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The council’s Cultural Relief Fund allowed these groups to continue operating during lock-down.

The £135,000 went to groups who weren’t eligible for other grants but couldn’t survive without help.

Those who have benefitted include Talawa Theatre Company and the award-winning Savvy Theatre Company.
