Wandsworth Council says it’s disappointed the work is continuing despite objections about what it will do to traffic levels.
It says there has been “little advance warning” from TfL and “hardly any consultation.”
Hammersmith Bridge is also closed, and urgent repairs began last month on Wandsworth Bridge
