Dumping unwanted goods outside charity shops in Richmond could now cost you over £2,000.

The council has started treating such incidents as fly-tipping after reports soared during lockdown.

The move means culprits could face fines, and if it were to progress to court, those fines could be as high as £2,500.

The Council is asking people to store the unwanted items in their home until shops are ready to re-open.
