GCSE students are collecting record results after the U-turn that means their qualifications are based on teachers' assessments


In England, the number of top grade 9s being awarded has risen 40 percent on last year.

26 percent of results in Wales were A-star or A - while that figure rose to 37 percent in Northern Ireland.
