London Mayor Sadiq Khan says contingency proposals to lock down the M25 are “unacceptable"

The Sunday Times reported yesterday how the London Orbital could be used to seal off the capital if Covid-19 infections rise.

Mr Khan says he only learned of the news when he read it in the paper.

He’s now written to the Prime Minister to ask for clarification.
