Merton Council is apparently falling short of equality standards in its recruitment at senior management level.


That’s according to its own council led report.

The proportion of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic top earners is nearly 3% lower than the London average.

The Lib Dems are urging the Labour-run council to adopt a CBI backed approach that uses a name-blind recruitment process.
