“Keep spreading the word” is the message from the Friends of Streatham Hill Theatre campaign group.
Members are trying to re-open the Grade II listed “gem” as an arts and performance hub for the community post Covid.
The theatre closed its doors in 1962, and was turned into a bingo hall, which also then closed in 2017.
Campaigners who want a theatre re-instated, are trying to raise over £30,000 to get a viability study done.
