Students expecting their BTEC results this morning now won't be getting them, after a last-minute decision to delay their release


The exam board which runs them wants more time to recalculate grades following the fiasco over A-level results.

Schoolchildren in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will receive their GCSEs though.

They're based on teachers' assessments instead of a computer algorithm, following the government U-turn.

These teenagers at Kingsley School in Hounslow have welcomed it.
