The Grade II listed structure was closed off to vehicles in April last year over safety fears, but it’s now shut to cyclists and pedestrians too.
Boats also aren’t allowed to cross the Thames beneath it.
Hammersmith and Fulham council, which manages the bridge, says the heatwave exacerbated the deterioration in the structure.
