The Jockey Club's chief executive has resigned after allegations including bullying and making racist comments were upheld by an independent inquiry

Delia Bushell started working for the company in September last year.

It operates fifteen racecourses, including Aintree, Cheltenham and Epsom Downs.

She’s published her resignation letter in The Racing Post, in which she disputes the decision to uphold the allegations.

The Jockey Club says the barrister was independent, and interviewed 19 witnesses.
