16% of people in Richmond have been affected by the serious illness or death of somebody close to them, due to COVID-19

That’s according to a survey by the council taken in late June.

1,400 people responded, with other findings showing just under a third have seen a fall in household income.

However, half of people reported doing more shopping locally, and 73% of people walking more.
