300 stop-checks were carried out on drivers in Mole Valley over the four weekends in August.

Officers targeted motorcyclists and drivers breaking traffic laws around the A24 area and its surrounding routes.

Money from Surrey Police’s Coronavirus Fund was used to help pay for the operation following a number of complaints from residents.

There were 96 traffic offence reports, fixed penalty notices or prohibition orders issued, four vehicles seized and 186 warnings.
