A Crystal Palace footballer has been fined, after texting his wife at the wheel

Mamadou Sakho was driving his Rolls-Royce through Tooting Bec in February when he was seen by police.

He said he was texting his wife, who was in hospital.

He’s been ordered to pay £352, and given six penalty points.
