Sophie McGeoch is being honoured with a Silver Award at the National Teaching Awards.
The accolades, into their 22nd year, honour the work done by “exceptional” teachers.
Sophie, who is head at Meadlands Primary, will now be in the running for one of just 14 Gold Awards later in the year.
