A YouTuber killed in an e-scooter crash lost control due to an underinflated tyre, a coroner has concluded.

35-year-old TV presenter Emily Hartridge died instantly from multiple traumatic injuries when she was thrown under a lorry in Battersea in July 2019.

Dr Fiona Wilcox said the lack of air in the scooter tyre as well as being “unsuitably driven, too fast” was the reason why she died.

Ms Hartridge from Hampshire is believed to be the first person in the UK to be killed in a crash involving an e-scooter.
