Barbers are being warned not to cut corners, after 20 of them in Richmond were found to be flouting rules.

The government suggests that people should wear both a face mask and visor due to the very close contact.

Customer records should also be kept for Test and Trace, but both of these regulations were seen to be disregarded in some establishments in the borough.

Councillor Richard Baker says they understand it can be a big expense, but it’s necessary to keep people safe.
