Epsom Police say they are seeing an increase in burglaries after keys have been left in doors.

Officers say burglars are gaining entry by making a small hole in the glass of the door to access a key which has been left in the lock of the inside of the door.

Residents are being told to take keys out of doors and to also store them away to prevent “fish-hooking” through letterboxes.
