That’s the view of Wandsworth’s Council leader Ravi Govindia who says it’s up to them to pay their own bills.
Reports have surfaced claiming Heathrow’s owners have handed a £500m bill to airlines to recover some of the costs of expansion.
The Court of Appeal ruled against expansion in February.
It said the Government hadn’t taken environmental agreements into account in its Airports’ National Policy Statement which supported expansion.
