London’s first new flower market for 150 years is counting its first day’s takings in Chiswick.

An array of stalls, stretched along Chiswick High Road, is the result of a partnership between locals and Hounslow Council.

A range of flowers, plants, bedding and bouquets are on offer, complete with cycle delivery service for those who need it.

The council plans to hold the market, with social distancing and anti-covid measures, on the first Sunday of every month.
