Plans for a five tower blocks next to Kew Gardens have been approved by the housing secretary

Hounslow Council had previously refused permission for the 441-flat development in 2018.

However, the Mayor of London reversed the decision and approved the plans.

An appeal against the 12-18 storey buildings has been unsuccessful.
