Professional dog walkers in Hammersmith and Fulham will have to apply for a licence from October the 1st.

They’ll have to pay an annual fee if they want to continue in the job.

The council says it’s made the decision to cut down on dog fouling.

Residents had also raised concerns about increasing numbers of professional dog walkers.
