The authority is going to partially re-open the White House in Hampton which is home to food banks and pre-school clubs.
It's after the Hampton upon Thames Community Association said it was financially unable to manage it.
The council, which has already issued emergency fundings to keep it afloat, will now takeover the lease until a new manager can be found.
