Spelthorne Council will hold a special meeting today to discuss the death of 7-year-old Zane Gbangbola in Chertsey in 2014

It was concluded that poisonous gases from a pump used to divert flood water away from the house caused his death.

Since then however, evidence has emerged that the dumping of potential toxic waste adjacent to his house could be to blame.

Zane’s parents are asking the council to support an Independent Panel Inquiry into their son’s death.
