The sister of a woman murdered in a so called “honour killing” in Mitcham says more still needs to be done to help victims like her.

The story of 20 year old Banaz Mahmod has been documented this week in the ITV drama “honour.”

Speaking in disguise to the BBC’s Victoria Derbyshire programme, Banaz’s sister says helplines still don’t have the funding they need.

Banaz’s father, uncle and three cousins were convicted of her murder in 2006.
