Detectives have identified a red van that’s believed to have been involved, and are asking people to check dashcam footage.
A man was found on Walton Bridge Road with serious head injuries, and died at the scene.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, or Crimestoppers to remain anonymous.
