A murder investigation has been launched after a man died of gunshot wounds after a shooting in Hayes.

 Police were called to Austin Road shortly before 10pm last night.

A burnt-out car was also recovered a few miles from the scene.

Two men in their 20s have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in police custody.
