A new licensing policy for venues like pubs and bars in Hounslow comes into effect at the end of the month.

Councils must, by law, produce a Statement of Licensing Policy at least every 5 years.

Only 135 people responded to the 8-week consultation over the summer.

The council has not said what changes are being made to the current policy, only that they will “safeguard communities further.”
