Richmond Council is to supply the service following the full closure of the bridge in August.
Four marshals will patrol on bikes between Hammersmith Bridge and Beverley Brook, weekdays between 3pm and 7pm from Monday.
The authority says it’s rolling out the safety procedure as the clocks go back this weekend and the path is used by hundreds of children.
