Leatherhead High Street’s pedestrian zone now includes cyclists.
Previously only running six days a week, it’s been extended to certain hours on Sundays as well.
The move has been made to further support social distancing measures.
The works will also enable cafes and restaurants to have outdoor tables and chairs when the pedestrian and cycling zone is not in place.
