People in Epsom and Ewell who receive winter fuel payments but don’t need them, are being asked to donate the cash to charity.

Project Wenceslas has been launched by the town’s Rotary Club.

The Government’s Winter Fuel Payment money can instead be distributed to people in critical need of help to pay their  bills. 

All monies donated are redistributed 100% without any deductions for costs or expenses.
