Police in London are to get upgrades to their body-worn cameras

They’ll have better performance in low light, and additional microphones for clearer audio recording.

Police in the South West Basic Command Unit, which includes Richmond, Wandsworth, Merton and Kingston, will be among the first to receive them.

The cameras don’t permanently record, and data is deleted after 31 days unless needed for evidence.
