Richmond Council leader Gareth Roberts has written to the government slamming plans to bail out Transport for London

At the peak of the Coronavirus pandemic, TfL was estimated to be losing £80 million per week.

A £1.6 billion Government bail-out extension is expected to last until the end of the month.

But Cllr Roberts says the measures which the bail-out is dependent on, like the extension of the C-Charge, are “intolerable.”
