A number of religious leaders are taking legal action against the government’s decision to close churches during the new lockdown

The restrictions state that “places of worship will be closed” with some exceptions including small funerals.

The group of leaders taking action includes Chris Demetriou, the Senior Pastor of Cornerstone the Church in Walton.
