Hammersmith and Fulham is hoping to follow in Liverpool’s footsteps and introduce mass coronavirus testing.

 The council plans to start offering more tests with fast turnarounds “very soon”.

The head of public health for the council, Dr Nicola Lang, told the health, inclusion, social care and accountability committee on Wednesday it’s been discussing plans with the government.

She expects the test results can be turned around in 20 to 30 minutes.
