Over 2,000 people across Richmond have now pledged to go “idle-free.”

The aim is to turn off vehicle engines while stationary, for example, at level crossings or outside schools.  

 The Mayor of London has also set up a dedicated Idling Action team to engage with schools and businesses on the topic.
