Contractors had planned to install a number of “rapid electric charging bays” on the corner of Everest Road.
However, it was felt the move would cause a potential influx of vehicleses in the area.
Some
residents took to the street in protest at the weekend; we’ve contacted Surrey
County Council for comment.
