Remembrance services in Wandsworth move online as people commemorate the fallen despite the pandemic.

 Across South West London and North Surrey people have been finding ways to beat the pandemic and mark remembrance day. 

In Carshalton students at Carew College have adorned their school ates with poppy-themed artworks.

Wandsworth’s annual remembrance service at Putney and Battersea is being held online.

In Hounslow the Mayor will issue and on-line address and Richmond’s Poppy factory ha to benefit from funds raised by runners  11 kilometres every day until the 11th. 

The remembrance service at the cenotaph is going ahead. Like many others around the country it’s been scaled down with social distancing and the traditional march-past cancelled due to coronavirus.
