Richmond Council has agreed to cover 25% of the infrastructure costs for a new ferry service for Hammersmith Bridge

The authority will contribute up to £375,000 to the project.

Hammersmith Bridge is completely closed.

TfL is aiming to award a contract within 12 weeks, but the infrastructure is subject to planning permission.
