Tobacco giant Philip Morris has been fined, after admitting they fell short in their packaging obligatinos

The Hammersmith-based company came forward and admitted they weren’t registered as a packaging producer during 2014.

It’s having to give almost £3,500 to the charity Trees for Cities.

The law says that big companies who make packaging must work to reduce the amount of waste they make, and register every year.
