Transport for London has reached a £1.8 billion deal with the government to keep the Capitals’s buses, tubes and trams running. The money will tide TFL over till the end of March, replacing fares lost because of lower passenger number dur to the pandemic. As part of the deal TFL has agreed to find £160 million pounds in savings.
