A woman has been attacked in an aggravated burglary in Clapham.

Officers were called to the Weir Road area on Monday the 28 December at 4:37pm following reports of a burglary and assault.

A woman in her 30s, was taking rubbish out when an unidentified man grabbed her, threatened her with a knife and stole about £260 in cash and jewellery.

The suspect is described as a black male, aged in his mid-to-late 20s, around 5ft 7in tall with a slim build.

He was wearing a black baseball cap with a white ‘NY’ emblem on the front, a baggy black hoodie and dark-coloured denim jeans.
