The RNLI says it will continue to work side by side with the emergency services during the current lockdown.

Tower and Chiswick remain the busiest lifeboat stations in the UK. 

Crews were called to a number of incidents over Christmas and the new year.

For Chiswick, these included a search for a person in the water at Strand on the Green and a hunt for a missing child at Richmond Lock.
